Hi, I’ve recently moved house and in doing so transported all of my gaming discs (comprised of Wii U and PS4 games) via a wallet-style CD case. Earlier I inserted a disc (first into the Wii U) and the console wouldn’t read it. I tried a few other discs and the same thing happened. At first I thought the console might be damaged but after trying out some PS4 games realised that exactly the same thing is happening with those too: when I go go play a game I receive an error message, and I can hear the disk drive struggling to read it. Obviously it’s unlikely that both consoles would malfunction at the same time so the problem must be with the discs somehow. I haven’t tested every game so far but the ones I have all failed. I’ve no idea how this could have happened from simply transporting them in a CD case: heat damage perhaps? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
